Accessibility Statement
Yapalift should be usable by everyone who wants to share a journey, regardless of ability. This page sets out our commitment, our target standard, and how to tell us when we fall short of it.
Our commitment
We want the Yapalift website and mobile app to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, have low vision or colour blindness, or find it easier to use larger text or a higher-contrast display. We’re working towards this on an ongoing basis as the Platform is built out — this is a genuine commitment, not a claim that every screen already meets it today.
Our target standard
Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the industry-standard benchmark for web accessibility.
[Flag for solicitor review — not asserted as legal advice here:] depending on how Yapalift is classified, obligations under the EU Web Accessibility Directive and/or the European Accessibility Act may also apply. We are not asserting a specific legal obligation on this page — that determination needs a solicitor’s input, not ours — but we are targeting WCAG 2.1 AA regardless of how that question is ultimately answered.
Tell us if something doesn't work for you
If you find part of the Platform difficult to use because of a disability, or anything here falls short of what we’re aiming for, please tell us. This helps us fix real problems rather than guessing at them.
Email hello@yapalift.ie describing what you were trying to do and what happened. We aim to acknowledge your message within 2 working days and give a substantive response within 10 working days.
